Pilot Model
Established in 2001, the beta installment
of homeone.com.au was developed as a pilot test with the
direct focus of providing Australian homeowners with the
simplest of methods in researching home building and renovation
needs.
By 2003, homeone.com.au attracted thousands of home builders
and renovators weekly, proved an invaluable network between
home owners, trade builders, and suppliers, and spawned
advertising interest from the small to large; single-operator
businesses to the likes of Australia’s ABC television
network.
During its pilot run, homeone.com.au’s online Australian
community presented a challenge to rejuvenate the site to
include scores of value-added features and user-friendly
enhancements that would see the developers scrambling to
meet a near deadline for an exciting and conclusive launch.

trends, and be enlightened by a valuable tip.
Aesthetically, homeone ®
is one of the first of few sites to embrace
forward change developed for 17” standard resolution
(1024 x 768 pixels) and above.
